I am a researcher in the field of bio-inspired Soft Matter with a PhD in Mechanics from Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris, France) as well as 7 years' experience in world-renowned research groups. I have considerable experience in scientific technical/grant writing, teaching and outreach activities. I recently obtained the Paris Chancellerie Award for best Science PhD and the highly competitive Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant (175,000€ for 2018-2020). I also recently began freelance scientific consulting for wetting and capillary adhesion phenomena for the Universidad Adolfo Ibañez. I am currently holding a post-doctoral position at SMAT-C with Professor Melo in Santiago de Chile, studying graphene as the ultimate thin film. I study fluid interfaces in all shapes and sizes, experimentally, theoretically and numerically. May they be in interaction with deformable microstructures, confined or evaporating, fluid interfaces have a fascinating potential for original discovery and innovation.
