- Investigated the effect of common dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) on the binding of Sars-CoV-2 S1 Spike to hACE2 receptor using a specific inhibitor assay, flow cytometry, and pseudotyped lentivirus entry into human ACE2 – TMPRSS2 overexpressing A549 cells. - Examined immune activating potential of some herbal medicinal extracts in human primary cells and cell lines, in terms of Sars- CoV-2 stimulation using ELISA, RT-PCR, and flow cytometry. - Analysed the relevance of bitter taste receptor (T2R38) expression in the regulation of immune response to T2R38 agonist (allyl isothiocyanate from Brassica plants). Determined the impact of endocrine disruptors at the levels of current human exposure on primary T lymphocyte functions and ageing isolated from healthy subjects through the non-classical pathway by using the TeloTAGGG Telomerase PCR ELISA, single cell gel electrophoresis assay (Comet), RT-PCR array, immunoblotting, and flow cytometry. - Studied the anti-inflammatory efficacy of Nasturtium in human immune cells and provided its underlying mechanism of action which is different from non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
