I'm a clinician scientist (human) ophthalmologist specialised in supporting preclinical development. 
My own research is centred around ocular gene therapy. In addition, I support major pharmaceutical industry partners in planning and conducting preclinical trials, especially in large animal models.

Services on offer: 
- Evaluating your project for the need for ophthalmological counselling
- Preclinical trial design
- Protocol/SOP development (both for interventions and follow-up examinations) 
- Surgical interventions in the anterior and posterior segment, including invasive biosampling 
- Performing Ophthalmological examinations (e.g. slit lamp, funduscopy, intraocular pressure) 
- Performing specialised examinations (e.g. Optical Coherence Tomography, Fluoresceine Angiography, Fundus Autofluoresecence) - Ocular Safety and Toxicology reporting (e.g. IND-relevant documentation)
