I am a bioinformatics software developer and PhD researcher in proteomics with over 20 years of professional experience delivering custom scientific software end-to-end. I design, develop, and maintain complete research and production systems — from backend architectures and biological databases to data processing pipelines and user-facing applications. My core expertise includes large-scale protein and peptide databases, mass spectrometry data analysis, and computational biology workflows. I work primarily with Java, Python, PHP, and JavaScript, building robust web and desktop applications, high-performance data systems, and reproducible scientific platforms. I also handle system-level aspects of projects, including Linux environments, deployment, and performance optimization, enabling clients to work with a single expert across the entire software lifecycle. I also work extensively with AI- and machine learning–based solutions, building and integrating intelligent data-processing pipelines, embedding-based systems, and automated analysis workflows for biological and scientific applications. I teach bioinformatics and related computational courses at the university level, which keeps my work closely aligned with current research practices and emerging technologies.
