I am a rhetorical scholar with specialized interest in women's health, advertising, history of medicine and gendered advertising for health related products. My work specializes in advertising for birth control items in the 1920s and 1930s. I also have a graduate certificate in Gender and Women's Studies. I teach courses in both Communication and Gender and Women's studies that focus on helping students to learn concepts and theory, but also presentation skills, business communication skills and writing.
