I have edited and rewritten academic papers for medicine and the sciences since 1994. I edit or rewrite between three and five manuscripts a week, meaning that I have had experience working with over 5000 papers.  You have the knowledge and research, I have re-writing skills. Most of my clients are Chinese speakers from Taiwan and China. I work on an ongoing basis with such organizations as National Health Research Institute, Academia Sinica, National Taiwan University, and Kaohsiung Medical University and University Hospital and many more.  I have lectured on how to write up medical research at Kaohsiung Medical University, National Yang Ming University, National Taiwan University, Veterans General Hospital, as well as the School of Public Health and Medicine at Beijing University. I edit and rewrite the presentation, organization, logic, style, grammar, and spelling of my clients. My focus is on your message and clear expression.  Most journals and their readers like my simple, straight-forward papers. In fact, 94% of the projects I edit are published in respected journals around the world. How does that happen? If I don't understand any part of your paper, I meet with you in my office, your research center, or on Skype to discuss your work with you to make sure we say exactly what you want to say in English written with clarity and grace. I have lived in Asia for more than 45 years, speak Chinese, understand Chinese logic, and communicate with my Chinese clients and clients from other countries very well. As a former EFL professional and a speaker of a foreign language (Chinese), I understand the challenges and have the patience you need.  However, I do not translate (though I can introduce you), I am not a copy editor and I do not check statistics, references, or prepare tables. A few years ago, four of my clients were the youngest full professors at their respective institutions, an indication I helped put them onto the fast track to promotion.  I charge 96 to 168 US dollars per hour, depending on how urgently you want your paper. Two universities have asked me to open editing departments for them, but I have not accepted, just because it would be very hard for me to monitor the work of other editors.  I love editing because I learn so much in the process.  I welcome your projects. Non-urgent service 10-day turnaround.
