During my PhD at Cardiff University, UK, I was developing novel inhibitors for metastatic breast cancer. My research of Bcl-3 inhibitors led to a patent filing and a foundation of a start up company, Tiziana Lifesciences. Later I moved to Spain as a Postdoctoral researcher of Marie Curie International Training Network to study novel therapies for metastatic liver cancer, focusing on the importance of metabolism in metastatic cancer progression. During my academic experience I realised that I enjoy more the scientific writing part than actual research and went on establishing my career as a scientific/medical writer. Currently I am mainly writing research proposals for Horizon 2020 funding, market research for health related projects and creating health related content for medical doctors.
