I have experience conceptualizing, writing, and compiling successful grant applications (over $1 million funded). I have authored over 2 dozen peer-reviewed manuscripts, 26 abstracts, and several technical reports and periodicals. I have presented oral and poster abstracts (award-winning) at over a dozen national and international conferences and disseminated research through more than 10 media interviews (TV, blogs, newspapers, podcasts). I am a recurring reviewer for 6 academic health, medical, and nutrition journals. I have a keen interest in public health nutrition stemming from my training as a Registered Dietitian, from a Master's degree in Public Health, and a Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences, but my freelance work covers a variety of non-nutrition medical-related topics.
