I am Jovana Kaljević, a scientist and writer with over 6 years of hands-on experience in the search for novel therapeutics that can either replace or enhance the efficacy of antibiotics. My research journey began with the investigation of the predatory bacterium Bdellovibrio bacteriovorus, and currently, I am focused on bacterial toxins and their delivery mechanisms to combat the global threat of antibiotic resistance. I have published in several high-impact journals (Impact Factor 10+), and I am eager to leverage my expertise in science communication to contribute to websites and companies dedicated to disseminating scientific knowledge.
