I trained as an evolutionary biologist. There I learned how to transform complex problems in useful data structures to plug in to computational tools. Then, in the field of evolutionary genomics, I got skills in data integration and visualization. Nowdays I work for a world known japanese research institute, where I analyze structural genomics data through the lens of functional genomics. I mainly develop my own algorithms and pipelines in Python, though I am looking into Julia and Rust.
