Biotechnologist with experience in research networking, communication and troubleshooting scientific ideas. Inquisitiveness, accomplishing targets as a team and excellent problem solving potential, coupled with proven leadership skills are some of my key skills. My doctoral research focused on using surface plasmon resonance biosensor for assay development in the process of studying crucial receptor, protein interactions. The recombinant proteins to be analyzed were synthesized using molecular biology techniques using insect cell lines. Currently, I work at Comvita Innovation, performing research on mammalian cell lines and testing the potent cytostatic, cytotoxic and anti-inflammatory effects of natural substances. Following are a list of some of the projects I have done  Study on bagasse from sugarcane as a supplementary carbon source  Extraction and characterization of protease enzyme from an isolate from the effluents of the sago industry  Low-cost alternative remedies for cancer treatment- halogen substituted alternatives of dichloro-acetate  Kinetics of insulin, insulin-receptor interactions using surface plasmon resonance  Anti-proliferative effect and toxicity studies of natural compounds on mouse and human tumor cell lines
