プロフィール概要

I am a medical microbiologist with a vast knowledge in molecular medicine, microbe isolation and identification, bacterial and fungal toxin detection in clinical samples, food and beverages. I worked on the development of protocol for the production of antimicrobial hand sanitizer which is now being used in preventing spread of diseases in hospitals and in communities in Kenya. Currently, my work is on the cloning and characterization of helminth proteins for drug targeting. Also, I am screening performing in vitro and in vivo drug screening against Schistosoma mansoni with aim of getting an alternative drug.
