Kenneth Omuomo is a laboratory specialist and technical advisor for laboratory and public health in Kenya. His field of expertise centers on laboratory systems strengthening, laboratory network management, public health and medical research. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and a Master's degree in Global Health and Development. He provides direct mentorship and technical assistance to several stakeholders in the health sector both at the local county and national levels. He does this using several strategies to strengthen the impact of laboratories in disease detection through quality management system (QMS) and laboratory information management and improving areas of training management and supervision, monitoring and evaluation among other key technical areas. Currently, Kenneth provides short-term technical advisory and consultancy services to local and international clients as an independent expert. He is an editor of academic and scientific journal articles, reviews materials, and provides other educational and technical advisory services addressing quality and health issues on certain technical/clinical areas intended for specialists, clinicians, nurses, allied health professionals.
