I have worked during my PhD in analytical chemistry. I am specialized in the measurements of site-specific 13C isotope ratio at natural abundance by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR). This work included NMR methodology development as well as application of the methodology to the field of biology which brought a better understanding of enzymes taking part in metabolism of plants and various microorganisms. Past researches led me to acquire an experience in organic, bio-organic as well as bio-inorganic chemistry. My skills include: Theoretical • Highly trained in quantitative NMR. • Strong knowledge in 13C isotopic fractionation processes. • Trained in synthetic organic chemistry reaction mechanisms and characterization techniques. • Knowledge in biology, specifically in microbiology. Practical • Good knowledge of chemical separation and purification techniques such as chromatography, preparative chromatography. • Microbiological techniques: trained to the use of bioreactors, autoclave and working under sterile conditions. Analytical • Analytical method for the determination of stable isotope content: NMR, Irm-MS. • Quantitative Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spectrometry techniques applied to the determination of site-specific 13C isotopic content • Development of 1D NMR sequence. • Quantitative 1D NMR at high precision (1‰). • Usual analytical techniques such as GC, HPLC. • Scientific software such as Topspin, Perch, Amix, Scifinder. • Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills. Teaching • Teaching assistant (undergraduate students), 2012-2013. • Practical of chemistry (basic analytical techniques), Université de Nantes (58h). Personal • Good organisational abilities. • Easily adaptable. • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team. • Language skills: • French : Mother tongue. • English : Fluent: read, spoken, written (incl.
