I am a social scientist with education and training in psychological and social sciences research methods. With 20 years of experience of social research, I am skilled in qualitative research, survey methods, and data analysis. I am experienced in \ analyzing data collected from interviews, focus groups, observation, surveys and documentary sources. I’m also an experienced and credentialed evaluator (CE), with the Canadian Evaluation Society. With substantial experience of working with large data sets, both qualitative and quantitative, I am proficient in data analysis software including IBM SPSS, NVivo, Excel and Access. I am also experienced in various online survey software platforms. I am a motivated and professional freelancer with strong project management, organizational and time management skills. I have successfully completed research projects for universities, health authorities, government departments, and large and small non-profit organizations. My research interests are in mental health and health promotion. I have completed research into public health, mental health, social inclusion, homelessness, seniors and ageing, disability, and criminal justice. RESEARCH SERVICES My work for clients may involves the completion of a research project from start to finish, or an individual task such as data analysis or questionnaire design.
