I'm a research psychologist currently expanding on my dissertation research initiated at Keiser University, which focuses on the relationship between mental illness stigma, impostor syndrome, and goal-related rumination. I'm also the research coordinator for the Lifespan Lab at Emmanuel College, where we're pioneering research on established adulthood (ages 30 to 45). My research is guided by insights gained from the experiences and connections I made with people struggling to achieve personally meaningful goals because of poor mental health. With my varied background, I'm equipped to help you with: - Quantitative data collection and analysis - Qualitative data collection and analysis - Academic writing in the fields of abnormal, cognitive, and developmental psychology - Mental health program evaluations - Research dissemination (e.g., conference proposals and presentations) Ultimately, what drives me is an immense desire to understand and help alleviate environmental and psychosocial barriers to success, particularly as they relate to mental illness. I strive to use a holistic approach in my research and value work that involves interdisciplinary perspectives, creative science, and diverse research methodologies.
