Lamek is currently a candidate for the Master of Science in Global Health Delivery ( MGHD) Program at the University of Global Health Equity. His interest lies in adolescent and youth issues, with a specific focus on how to apply a biosocial approach to addressing challenges in HIV Prevention, HIV Testing Services, HIV Care and Treatment, Gender-Based Violence, and Sexual and Reproductive Health that African countries grapple with. Prior to joining the MGHD program, Lamek worked as the Adolescent and Youth Program Officer at LVCT Health, a Kenyan Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established in 2001, dedicated to offering integrated HIV services and Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) programming through undertaking operations and implementation research, which informs policy and service delivery. Lamek brings a wealth of expertise in Leadership and Management, Health Policy and Political Economy, Evidence-Based Global Health Delivery, Program Monitoring Evaluation & Research Methods, and Managing Global Healthcare Delivery.
