I hold a PhD in Health Promotion (specializing in exercise science) from the University of Western Ontario (Canada) and a Post-Doc in Child Health Evaluative Sciences from the Hospital for Sick Children (Canada). I completed my Master's of Science at the University of Western Ontario. I have much experience drafting scientific manuscripts (including reviews), grant proposals, white papers and research summaries/briefs. I am also highly proficient. I have 59 peer-review publications (14 of which are 'in press'). In 2019, a review paper I submitted was awarded "Top read paper" for the International Journal of Behavioural Nutrition and Physical Activity (Early Childhood Education stream). Given my current position in Knowledge Translation, I also have much experience synthesizing evidence and producing public-facing (or lay) pieces.
