I am currently a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at UCSD. In this position, I study the transcriptional regulators of the immune response to Alzheimer's Disease. I have spent the last 10 years working full time in several neuroscience research laboratories (at various institutions) which has afforded me a massive amount of experience in many experimental techniques. I have presented my work at many conferences/meetings around the world which has helped me build an extensive network of peers from several scientific disciplines. As a result, I have collaborated with many diverse groups of scientists on both small and large-scale research projects. These collaborations have led to many opportunities to perfect my writing skills, which has included writing and editing review articles, research grants, and experimental manuscripts, both within and outside of the field of neuroscience. I am able to assist in virtually any portion of the research process, from designing relevant research questions to writing and publishing your findings. I also have extensive experience in presenting experimental data, which includes compiling manuscript figures, seminar slide decks, project abstracts, and conference posters. I would be delighted to be a part of your research team!
