I'm Lira Hakani, originally from Tirana, with a PhD in Molecular Biology and a commitment to environmental issues. Over the past decade, I've dedicated my career to project management within civil society organizations focused on environmental sustainability. My work has involved collaboration with national, regional, and international partners on topics such as energy poverty and efficiency, climate change, developing energy scenarios for 2050 to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, addressing air pollution, and promoting smart investments. I have written several publications and research papers related to my educational background in molecular biology. Additionally, I have co-authored and contributed to approximately 10 publications focused on important topics such as energy, environmental oversight of International Financial Funds, waste management, and greenhouse gas emissions reduction. My dedication to these crucial topics arises from a genuine desire to understand how everything in the environmental sector is linked, much like the intricate network of a human system. Through my small efforts, I hope to create a healthy environment for the well-being of our community and where we can all have a role in protecting it.
