Hi, my name is Lorena and I am a Bioinformatician with six years of experience in developing and validating bioinformatics pipelines (Snakemake/Python, bash, R) for NGS data analysis, comparative genomics, variant calling and functional annotation. I am experienced in running analyses on high-performance computing clusters (Linux) and employing workload managers (SLURM) for efficient, parallel job execution. For statistical analysis and visualization in my scientific publications and reports, I use primarily R/RStudio, Rmarkdown, tidyverse, ggplot2, and R packages more specific to genomic dataviz (e.g. chromoMap).
