For the past 12 years, I have been involved in international projects related to surveying and developing the uses of wild edible plants in several contexts and countries. In sub-urban European towns, as well as African villages or with traditional Pygmies hunter-gatherers. I also provide advice and literature reviews to non-specialised professionals as well as academic researchers in related fields (ecology, anthropology, sociology, etc.). I know how to adapt the ethnobotanical and scientific language to a non-specialised audience. I also have a strong implication in popularization of science in general and ethnobotany in particular, in order to disseminate reliable information for people who would like to introduce wild edible plants in their daily diet. My current project consists on surveying the foraging behaviours in contemporary Europe, in order to help other communities increase self-sufficiency and food security and to build comprehensive responses to local nutrition issues.
