I am a classical archaeologist specializing in the expression of cultural identity in Roman domestic life, especially through wall painting. My research is interdisciplinary in nature and combines approaches from archaeology, art history, history, literary studies, and memory studies. I have experience in museum cataloguing, exhibition design, and publications, as well as editing and academic writing instruction. I am also developing a collaborative digital humanities project that will build an online resource on faux marble in ancient painting and will be supported by a field project in Italy.
