I am commited and passionate researcher with 7+ years of post PhD research experience in cancer biology related domain. I have demonstrated the ability of working in multi disciplinary research areas and I have been part of number of research innovation. My research outputs have made advances in addressing key scientific question related to cancer biology, particularly, DNA damage associated cancers. Key Skills • Stem Cell Biology: Isolation of stem cells form bone marrow, liver, spleen and lymph nodes. Proficient in sorting. Capable of mimicking bone marrow microenvironment in cell culture. • Molecular Biology: Cloning, gene knockdown and over-expression techniques. Northern and southern techniques. Quantitative analysis of gene expression by qRT PCR, PCR. ChIP Seq. • Cell Biology: Mammalian cell culture techniques. Thoroughly acquainted with the maintenance of broad range of cell lines as well as clonal selection. • Microbiology and Virology: Extensive knowledge and hands on experience in typical bacteriology and virology techniques. Proficient in BSL-II/II+ laboratory. Knowledge of virus infection to B cells. • Protein Chemistry/ Proteomics: Protein Expression, Identification of interacting proteins by IP, Co-IP, GST pull down, mass spectrometry. • Microscopy: confocal microscope, fluorescence microscope and light microscope. • Spectroscopy: Multi color flowcytometry techniques and analysis. MALDI-TOF for identification of Microorganisms. • Bioinformatics: BLAST, and statistical analysis software such as Prism, graph pad and SPSS. • Lipid Chemistry: Synthesis of fatty acid fatty acid esters and secondary alcohol esters. • Animal Handling: Capable of handling laboratory rats, mice and rabbits.
