I am a Bioinformatics Scientist (computer scientist by training and worked in applied machine learning for bioinformatics analysis for more than 8 years). I did my doctoral research in predicting gene regulatory proteins for disease (cancer, hypertension) and cell type specificity. During my postdoctoral research I have built an atlas of mouse regulators learned de-novo using deep learning models on open chromatin data. Recently, I joined thermo fisher as a data scientist doing ML based analytical support for COVID19 pandemic tracking and epidemiological research.
