National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Academic Clinical Fellow in ENT (Otolaryngology). Academic Clinician: I graduated in Medicine from the University of Cambridge, also undertaking a Neuroscience BA (Hons) graduating with a First Class. I work within the NHS and undertook surgical training, now with 5 years experience and am a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (ENT). I have numerous peer-reviewed publications in medical journals, prizes, quality improvement projects, posters and presentations to national audiences. My areas of interest include ENT, Head and Neck, Neuroscience and Neurosurgery. Machine Learning: I have conducted statistical analyses for a number of published works and my current research focuses on building models for the application of machine learning to healthcare. I code predominantly in Python and have a firm understanding of statistics. I have undertaken a number of machine learning and data science courses and certifications. I have experience in the use of computer vision for image classification / segmentation, risk models and survival estimators.
