My expertise in molecular genetics, genomics, and oncology will allow me to provide valuable support and insight to emerging strategies in personalized medicine, targeted molecular therapy, and immunotherapies for cancer and complex genetic diseases. I earned my PhD at the University of Toronto studying cell signaling pathways and how they are abnormal in cancer cells. I have used my experience since to devise translational preclinical studies to advance and influence scientific and medical strategies to treat blood malignancies and also prostate cancer. I am committed to effective scientific exchange to ensure that people from all educational backgrounds can understand sophisticated biological concepts which enables informed decision making in science-driven enterprises such as the pharmaceutical industry.
