I use proteomics and molecular biology methods in my research on brain tumors and brain AVMs, as well as cell/tissue culture and immunostaining . I’m interested in utilizing proteomics and molecular biology in biomarker discovery and drug development of diseases, such as Brain Tumors, Brain AVMs, Cardiovascular diseases, etc. - My novel research on brain AVMs was the first to utilize proteomics techniques to identify protein targets for AVM molecular and vascular therapies post radiosurgery. selected PUBLICATIONS Margaret Simonian (2016).
