I am a plant biologist with experience in biochemistry and genetics. I have worked on projects including: • Designing a protocol for RNAi in pea. • Optimizing an inducible gene expression system in Brachypodium distachyon. • Characterizing a family of amino acid transporters in rice using enzyme kinetics, electrophysiology, GFP tagging, and protein modeling. • Surveying genetic diversity in root nodulating bacteria and their ability to infect alfalfa.
