I am a biologist (M.Sc.) with expertise in microbiology, in vitro testing technologies, bioelectrochemical systems, and scientific communication. My professional background combines academic research with industry experience in the development, validation, and application of innovative laboratory technologies. During my academic career at the University of Freiburg and the University of Bremen, I worked on the development and characterization of microbial electrolysis cells for CO2 reduction and methane production. My research involved aerobic and anaerobic cultivation of microorganisms, bioelectrochemical systems, experimental design, laboratory analytics, and data interpretation. I co-authored peer-reviewed scientific publications and gained extensive experience in scientific reporting and technical documentation. As an Application Engineer at Vitrocell Systems GmbH, I managed projects from concept development to successful implementation of advanced in vitro exposure systems. My responsibilities included system development, laboratory testing, validation, troubleshooting, method development, customer support, installation, and scientific training. I worked closely with researchers and industry partners to develop customized solutions and optimize experimental procedures. In addition to my laboratory and technical expertise, I have extensive experience writing scientific reports, technical documents, presentations, and publications.
