PhD Candidate in Medicinal Plant Sciences and founder of a small-batch cosmetic manufacturing business, combining bench-level formulation with regulatory documentation and botanical R&D. I develop and troubleshoot skincare, haircare, and body care formulations from initial concept, with particular strength in botanical/natural actives. I can assist with formulation design, external stability testing, documentation preparation and regulatory-compliant labeling. I have also collaborated and published several peer-reviewed articles and was one of the project managers for two published books. I've presented my research at various conferences including the Society of Cosmetic Chemistry South Africa conferences and the ISE-APSS International Congress.
