I am a highly experienced university lecturer, data scientist, and iOS app developer with a diverse skill set. My expertise lies in algorithm design, data science, mathematical modeling, and simulation. In the field of data science, I have done projects such as predicting stock prices using decision tree methods, predicting winners of horse races using machine learning techniques, and using the Logit model to predict winners of NBA games. In terms of iOS app development, I have a track record of delivering successful projects. I have published an iOS app for MATLAB programming called "Simo" (available at www.simo.ac). Additionally, I have collaborated with animal welfare groups, including SPCA, to develop an iOS app that ranked No. 2 in the "Top Free - Lifestyle" category in the Hong Kong App Store in 2011. My teaching experience spans over 13 years, primarily focused on engineering mathematics, statistics, STEM, and numeracy subjects at tertiary institutions. I am well-versed in delivering high-quality instruction and fostering a positive learning environment. When it comes to programming, I am proficient in various languages such as Python, Julia, MATLAB/Simulink, C, Swift/Objective-C, iOS SDK/UIKit/SwiftUI, 8051 Assembly, and Fortran 77.
