Award-winning Neuropsychologist with a diverse range of technical and scientific skills, backed by 10 years of experience. Successful in securing competitive grants - obtained over $600k in funds in 2023. Known for creativity, efficiency, and problem-solving abilities. Trilingual in Spanish, French, and English. Currently a fellow at UvAmsterdam and UC Louvain, previously served as an Assistant Research Professor at Rutgers University. PhD earned from the University of Sussex. My academic work combines complex cognitive paradigms with psychophysiology and psychopharmacology to investigate the link between bodily responses and consciousness. While I have a deep passion for academic research, a recent collaboration with an engineering firm tasked me with leveraging my knowledge in psychophysiology and psychopharmacology to enhance car safety systems. This initial experience working with a private client made me realize the satisfaction of helping partners find innovative solutions to real-world problems and strengthened my ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to industry stakeholders. As a multidisciplinary scientist, I offer assistance with various tasks: WRITING AND EDITING – I have authored over 14 peer-reviewed manuscripts and registered reports, and recently secured two highly competitive European grants. Writing a strong grant proposal can be challenging—I myself faced multiple rejections before obtaining my first grant. This learning process has provided me with a unique approach to supporting others in grant writing. Additionally, I serve as an assistant field editor for an addiction journal and an editor at the Peer Community Initiative for Peer Review.
