I am an experienced analytical scientist with 10+ years in primary biomedical research, quantitative data analysis and technical communication skills leading to 6 peer-reviewed publications and 14 professional conference presentations. I have expertise in the design and construction of optical spectroscopy and microscopy systems including optics, electronic hardware, and software in Matlab and Python platforms. I have also worked with mouse and zebrafish model organisms, developing surgical procedures and using CRISPR/Cas9 technology to create transgenic fluorescent reporter strains. Throughout my work, I have developed mathematical models, computer simulations, and performed statistical analysis of complex data sets.
