I am a PhD candidate (by publication) in machine learning and cybersecurity at Charles Sturt University, Australia, with a research focus on adversarial machine learning and the robustness of ML/AI systems. My domain expertise spans deep learning, deep reinforcement learning, generative models, federated learning, and transformer architectures, applied to network security, IoT, autonomous vehicles, and medical AI. This gives me the technical depth to assess correctness, reasoning, and failure modes in ML/AI outputs, and to edit specialised manuscripts in these areas with subject-matter accuracy rather than surface-level copyediting. I have an extensive scholarly writing and review record. My work appears in venues including IEEE LCN, VTC-Spring, ICCIT, NCA, the IEEE Internet of Things Journal, and Ad Hoc Networks, and I write and typeset to IEEE and Elsevier standards in LaTeX. Across multiple revision rounds I have authored formal reviewer responses, rebuttals, and cover letters, so I am fluent in the full journal-submission and peer-review workflow — structuring arguments, tightening technical language, and improving clarity without altering meaning. A recurring theme in my research is critically stress-testing systems: much of my work shows where ML models and evaluations break down under realistic conditions, a mindset that transfers directly to rigorous, detail-oriented evaluation. Technically, I work primarily in Python (PyTorch, scikit-learn, NumPy, Scapy) and manage reproducible, documented codebases on GitHub. My ongoing research includes a lightweight adversarially robust intrusion-detection method and a formal framework for when adversarial attacks are realistic in practice. I hold a Master of Engineering degree in Electronic and Information Engineering from Beihang University in China, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. Additionally, I served as a visiting researcher with the ASPIRE team at Waseda University in Japan. I also have experience teaching secondary-school physics under the Cambridge International curriculum, where I honed my ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
