I am a biological engineer with a strong foundation in biotechnology, computational biology, genomics, and molecular evolution. My research interests lie at the intersection of viral genomics, epigenomics, and evolutionary biology, where I explore how genomic features shape gene regulation and evolutionary dynamics. M.Tech Thesis (IIT Gandhinagar): Investigating the evolution and origins of open chromatin regions using ATAC-seq data from human samples. Developed a computational model that predicts open chromatin regions across 105 vertebrate genomes using DNA sequence features. Independent CRISPR Research: Analyzing bacterial sequences to study the evolution of CRISPR spacers, their viral origins, and their impact on host genomes. Exploring how entropy differences in CRISPR regions influence their evolutionary trajectory.
