​I am an ecosystem scientist interested, merging techniques, approaches, and ideas from ecology, biogeochemistry, and hydrology. Increasingly, I try to think about conceptual models that include feedbacks with social systems. I love collaborative research; I bring to the table a combination of experimental and observational approaches (including bioassays, high frequency sensors, optical DOM measurements, data synthesis, and others), multiple hypothesis testing, and conceptual development for ecosystem science. I especially love making sense of messy data.
