My name is Michael and I am a Medical Doctor living in Ireland. I have joined Kolabtree to gain experience as an online freelancer for medical research and I am willing to work hard to help you solve any problem or task you need help with. I am a previous recipient of a Health Research Board Summer Scholarship and have been awarded the PF Fitzpatrick Prize for Public Health in University College Cork based on receiving the highest grade in the public health module of my medical studies. I was one of 16 academic interns which allows doctors to use protected time to conduct research. I have participated in many different types of research projects, from case reports to clinical trials and I have extensive experience in writing research proposals, performing data analysis and writing reports. I have a Masters Degree in Public Health, which focused on Epidemiology and Biostatistics and I have published several articles in peer-reviewed journals. I am currently working part-time as a research support officer for a large national prevalence study and part-time as a locum doctor. I am also the founder of a new website www.medicalresearchassistant.com which aims to help others with their medical research goals.
