I am a marine ecologist with +20 years' experience in academic and government research. My primary interests are in benthic and community ecology and conservation. I have extensive field experience (including >2000 hours SCUBA experience) across many marine environments (e.g. coral reefs, mangroves, seagrass, estuaries, soft sediments, rocky shores etc) from the tropics to the sub-Antarctic. I have 10 year's experience in research and monitoring project management and delivery, with publications in high-profile journals. I have expertise in experimental design, statistical analysis and scientific writing both for primary literature and for government. I have a high level of literacy and have edited many papers, articles and theses and have been invited to provide peer-reviews for many journals.
