Over 25 years of experience in compound semiconductor laser development. More than 250 publications. Coordination of 11 research projects (5 international). Areas of expertise: epilayer design and optimization; transverse and longitudinal device structure, DFB, DBR and MOPA lasers with surface gratings; high-speed directly modulated lasers (for 25-40 Gb/s and beyond); narrow-linewidth lasers (0.05-0.5 MHz); high-power lasers (1-5 W); RC-LEDs; VCSELs; SOAs; bi- and multi-wavelength lasers (with channel spacing 1000-20 GHz). Tested designs at xxxxxxxxxxxx, 808, 852, 894, 980, 1064, 1180 nm and telecom bands.
