I am a PhD researcher in computer science and artificial intelligence at Wuhan University of Technology, specializing in machine learning, artificial intelligence, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision. My work focuses on building intelligent systems for low-resource and multilingual environments, with particular expertise in African and Ethiopian language technologies. I have research and project experience in text summarization, fake news detection, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, topic classification, and large language models (LLMs) for underrepresented languages. I also work in computer vision and medical image analysis, applying machine learning techniques for healthcare-related classification tasks. I am experienced in the complete AI research pipeline, including dataset creation, model development, evaluation, and scientific publication, and I collaborate effectively in international and interdisciplinary teams. My goal is to develop practical, data-driven AI solutions that address real-world challenges in language and vision applications.
