Previous Research Experience My PhD research work is mainly focused on the development of flexible Schiff base chelated transition metal coordination complexes towards various biological and electrochemical significance. A good structure-activity relationship is carried out for mimicking of various metalloenzymes i.e, catecholase, glycosidase, protease, nuclease etc. A stringent study on the binding affinity of metal complexes towards biomacromolecules i.e, DNA and Protein are also justified. Cell imaging, anti-proliferative activity, and anti-microbial activity experiment were employed to get fruitful information towards targeted drug therapy. In another phase of my PhD thesis work, I have applied the various electrochemical technique to understand the anti-corrosion activity of these metal complexes. These preliminary outcomes on very good corrosion inhibition efficiency and proper biological significance of these complexes influence me to investigate their probable use in biomedical engineering. In my present Post-Doctoral work, I am currently working in the field of biocatalysis using reconstituted metalloenzyme encapsulated inside some metal-organic framework. Future Research Interest - As I got primary knowledge about the biological significance of metal complexes in my PhD level study, thus my further interest is to investigate the exact and detail roles of metal ions in the living medium also I want to explore the dynamics of metal complexes inside the cellular environment. Apart from this, I have the interest to develop some bioactive anticorrosive biomaterials which can be used as a coating element in biomedical instruments or implants.
