With a MSc in Biochemistry and a PhD in Cancer Biology from The Institute of Cancer Research, I have over 6 years of Cancer Research experience. In addition, I worked as a scientific editor and peer review checker for the Oncology Letters journal for nearly 2 years. My skills make me capable of conducting a range of scientific writing, editing and reviewing to a very high standard. My work involves: - Preparing written materials such as slides, reports, manuscripts, posters, websites and apps; - Editing material including organisation, readability, content, grammar, spelling and punctuation; - Scientific reviewing and analysis of content, suggesting alterations and additional experiences. Topics of my most recent research focused on understanding the mechanisms by which genetic alterations in FGFR3 afect the downstream molecular rewiring in tumour cells sustaining cell survival signalling through FGFR3, identifying this way new therapeutic targets.
