I am Dr. Km Neelofar, a PhD in Molecular Endocrinology (Aligarh Muslim University, 2016) with over a decade of research experience in biotechnology, protein biochemistry, and endocrinology. My work primarily focuses on diabetes, chronic kidney disease, protein glycation, and biomarker discovery, with extensive expertise in molecular biology techniques, therapeutic research, and translational medicine. I have held prestigious research fellowships funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), including Women Scientist (PDF, xxxxxxxxx), Research Associate (xxxxxxxxx), and Senior Research Fellow (2012–2016). My ongoing research explores the impact of silibinin on protein glycation and its therapeutic potential, while my previous projects have investigated Amadori albumin as a diagnostic and prognostic marker in diabetes mellitus. My technical expertise spans cell culture, RT-PCR, molecular docking, MD simulation, chromatography, spectroscopy (UV, FTIR, CD), mass spectrometry, ELISA, Western blotting, flow cytometry, immunoassays, protein/DNA/RNA isolation, and bioinformatics tools (SPSS, SigmaPlot, NCBI databases). I am also experienced in animal handling, immunization, and translational research methodologies. I have authored 18+ peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals (IF up to 10.0), contributed a book chapter on glycated albumin, and hold a granted patent (2022) on Canagliflozin-Ascorbic Acid Cocrystal. My research has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Young Researcher Award (USA, 2016), Women Scientist Fellowship (ICMR, 2020), and Best Paper Presentation (RSSDI, 2023).
