I received a BA in Civics and Ethical Studies from Debre Berhan University in 2014 and an MA in International Relations and Diplomacy in 2018 from Addis Ababa University. I also obtained a second MA in Migration and Intercultural Relations from the University of Oldenburg in 2024 and a PhD in Global Studies (Peace and Security in Africa) from the University of Leipzig in 2025. My research interests include geopolitics, peace and security, international relations, and international migration focusing on the Horn of Africa region and beyond.
