My recent focus has been on climate change management related projects, which include climate finance such as estimating needs for African countries, developing educational material on climate change to be taught in schools, ESG reporting based on GRI framework, developing climate policy notes for several north African countries based on identification and analysis of challenges and opportunities, implementing MRV in Egypt's waste sector, developing a methodology for NAMA implementation in Mongolia's building sector, investigating potential carbon markets in Egypt among others. Other projects related to environment include performing ESIAs, ESMFs according to WB safeguards in the waste and transport sectors. Current career goal: continue growing in the field of climate change management. The main reason for this decision originates in the key skills that motivated me during my Ph.D. and that I am passionate about using in my future career. Those skills are: identifying, breaking down and solving problems to create a positive change. Previous research (MSc and Ph.D.): Designed, planned, and conducted equilibrium studies to investigate gas-solid reaction mechanisms of atmospheric gases and iron oxide nanoparticles (magnetite) serving as adsorbents for air pollution remediation, and as environmental surfaces in dust, which influence air quality and climate. Technical expertise: • Expert user of solid phase micro-extraction and Gas Chromatography-FID and MS for trace gas analyses • Surface chemical analyses of iron oxide nanoparticles using X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy • Gas phase and wet chemistry techniques • Characterization of nanoparticles: powder X-Ray Diffraction, ATR-FTIR spectroscopy, and BET surface area analyzer • Interpretation of TEM and SEM images, and TOF-SIMS spectra • Softwares: Avantage (Thermo Scientific), OriginPro8, Igor Pro4.04, MS Excel, Word, Power Point, matlab basics
