Born and raised in Toronto (Canada), I have developed a passion for interdisciplinary biomedical sciences, with interests ranging from biostatistics, machine learning, computational biology and meta-analytics to experimental research, cellular mechanobiology and skeletal physiology. I completed my PhD in 2019 at McGill University (Montreal, Canada), where I was involved in the discovery of novel mechanotransductive signalling pathways in bone, as-well as the development of meta-analytic methods for translational research. During my doctoral training, I was also heavily involved in teaching statistics and meta-analytic methods, which culminated in my development of a meta-analytics course at McGill University. Since completing my doctorate, I have consulted on various projects which have demanded domain expertise in the biomedical sciences and statistics. My current interests involve addressing current translational failures in clinical research, development of computational tools for meta-analytics (i.e., application of machine learning in evidence consolidation and synthesis) and understanding skeletal mechanobiology and related signalling processes (e.g., purinergics). I am always looking to expand my horizons and welcome creative and demanding opportunities.
