I am a freelance science editor with extensive experience in editing research papers in life sciences for several companies, including Accdon (MA, USA), Oxford Science Editing (UK) and Cactus communications (India). My primary responsibility involves the substantive editing, copy editing and formatting of research articles, although I am also occasionally involved in the preparation of detailed expert commentaries and journal recommendation reports. The manuscripts edited by me cover a broad range of subject areas, including, but not limited to, medicinal chemistry, drug design & development, computational biology, protein structure & function, cell & molecular biology, immunology, and medical case reports. My educational background includes a PhD in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India (January 2019). The primary focus of my doctoral work was the design of novel anti-inflammatory drugs. I have four first-author publications in peer-reviewed international journals and am well-versed with the scientific style of writing. I also achieved the highest possible score of 90 in the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic). In addition, I am an avid reader and have published a few articles in national newspapers.
