I am a PhD trained molecular biologist with over five years of postdoctoral research experience in metabolism, respiratory physiology, and circadian biology. My research focuses on understanding how physiological gases, particularly carbon dioxide, regulate cellular and systemic metabolism, with implications for diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and COPD. I have published first-author research articles in leading journals including Cell Metabolism and PLOS Biology. My work combines fundamental biology with translational applications, aiming to bridge the gap between laboratory research and clinical relevance. My technical expertise includes experimental design, metabolic phenotyping, RNA sequencing analysis, lipidomics, and advanced physiological techniques. I have developed and standardized protocols for intrapulmonary vasodilation using echocardiography, as well as subcellular fractionation of the endoplasmic reticulum and its lipidomic analysis. In addition to research, I have strong experience in scientific writing, grant preparation, and mentoring students. I am particularly interested in collaborative projects that involve metabolic disorders, lifestyle diseases, and innovative therapeutic approaches. I can support clients with study design, data interpretation, literature review, protocol development, and high-quality scientific writing for publications, grants, and reports.
