My PhD work focused on elucidating mechanisms by which hepatitis b virus causes hepatocellular carcinoma, and the ability of immunomodulators to delay pathogenesis. My postdoc work investigated dysregulated interferon signaling in pancreatic cancer, and methods to improve immunotherapy, including CAR therapy. I currently study biomarkers and the development of companion diagnostics for the diagnosis and treatment of many diseases.
